New bears, and 2 new shows coming up for Little Handfuls

Hi Everyone!

 

Time for an update, Little Handfuls has had a big couple of months, not all good but as they say, whatever doesn't kill me makes me stronger!

We followed a tough month with a family break away thanks to my inlaws and really enjoyed the beach for a few days.

 

Now I'm heading into a new show season as I hit Auckland for 2 big shows, one this weekend 18 - 20 Oct and one on 30 November!  I haven't done these ones before so fingers crossed!

 

I hope to  do another show, this time the Raglan Twilight show just a few days before Christmas, will keep you posted on that one!

The Little Handfuls 'We hit 1,500 likers' Giveaway!!

Well we finally hit that 1,500 mark a little while ago and so we are running our 3rd giveaway!

Molly is needle felted in gorgeous NZ silk/merino fibre in a soft rose colour.

She wears matching skirt and bow with vintage lace and has the most gorgeous big bear nose stitched from soft pink cotton perle.  Love those toepads too!

Big show now on in Hamilton!

Hi Folks

Just a quick update as we head into our big show for the year!  I've just set up our stand at Dunkleys Great NZ Craft show at the Claudelands Showgrounds!  3 days of crafts and lots to see!

2013 Happenings!

Hi Everyone!

I hope that the new year is treating you well so far!  Here at Little Handfuls Headquarters things are definately on the move!  I started a new job at the end of last year which has been keeping me away from my lovely bears, but I am now having to play catch up as I will be joining in again with the online bear show Teddies Worldwide which is available for viewing and purchasing in March!

I need 10 bears for this show and I am a late entry so I don't have much time to get things done!  Suffice to say there won't be a lot of housework getting done over the next couple of weeks! hehe

More news, the little teaser pic above is for my article/instructions being published in the next issue of  Australian Bear Creations Magazine in a few months time!  I spent many hours at the end of last year taking photos and writing up instructions for the 4 page spread so I can't wait to see how it turned out!  I have already been published in the magazines last issue which ran my profile and story which looked great!  You can read this on my facebook page if you would like to!

Because of the upcoming show I am putting my new bears on hold, none will be available until the show opens although there are still bears waiting for new homes in the facebook albums pages.  I have so many orders to get through too!
